I noticed that most of the felony arrests at the South Side parade were people from Tinley Park. Doesn't Tinley have its own Irish Parade? Maybe those little punks should stay home and trash their own town!

I passed along the Grandma Corkery joke about Celtic dancing (in which one kicks one's arse, with arms remaining down at the side) to a grad student from Dublin. She did not laugh. She was very skilled in the dance, and also spoke Irish (which is actually a recognized language in the EU). I have since made up to her because it was stupid of me. But now I am scared to celebrate the march of the Oirish.
